Frequently Asked Questions
Signals are updated daily after the market closes (after 4:00 PM EST). The system processes end-of-day data and generates new alerts based on closing prices, typically within 30 minutes of market close.
The system tracks: EMA 8 (8-day exponential moving average), EMA 21 (21-day exponential moving average), SMA 100 (100-day simple moving average), RSI (14-day Relative Strength Index), and Stochastic Oscillator (14,3). Signals are generated when these indicators cross key levels or each other.
Bullish signals (like EMA 8 crossing above EMA 21) suggest upward momentum. Bearish signals (like price crossing below SMA 100) suggest downward pressure. However, signals should be used alongside your own research and risk management—not as standalone trading triggers.
Swing trading involves holding positions from several days to weeks (or up to about two months). It's a medium-term approach that focuses on capturing trend moves rather than day-to-day fluctuations. This style requires less constant monitoring than day trading.
Currently, the watchlist is fixed at 60 carefully selected stocks and ETFs chosen for liquidity and technical reliability. The watchlist is reviewed periodically based on liquidity, market structure, and relevance. Customization features may be added in the future based on user feedback.
Not currently. The system focuses on end-of-day signals based on closing prices. However, I plan to introduce intraday signals in the future for users who want more frequent updates throughout the trading session.
No trading signal is guaranteed to be profitable. Technical indicators identify potential setups, but market conditions, fundamentals, and external events all affect outcomes. Signals should be validated with your own analysis and used within a disciplined risk management framework.
The platform is currently free to use. In the future, I may introduce paid tiers or more advanced features based on user feedback and platform development.
